Circuit City Complaint regarding SamsungTV
May 1, 2008
Samsung Electronics complaint by Joan Anderson
In late Dec. I purchased a Samsung TV at Circuit City. It quit working and Circuit City will not even take it in to repair. The *** thing is less than 5 months old and they are unwilling to help because the TV is over 27 inches and I did not purchase an extended warranty! I drove from Williams, CA to Fairfield, CA to be told this information. I had always heard that you had to take the purchased TV back to the store you bought it at to get satisfaction and they simply dismissed me. I am pissed off.

Usually the best thing to do when your tv breaks down under warranty is to contact the manufacturer, not the store, as they are the ones who are responisible for repair/replacement. Usually the manufacturer can give you the name and number of the closest authorized service center, and most service on tv's over 27" are done in the home now. No need for you to go anywhere unless you live in a remote area.
