Samsung TV Repair (Warranty)

Purchased a Samsung 42 Plasma Model HP-S4273 less than 12 months ago. I understand that things sometimes go bad with electronic devices. The issue is the warranty pain and misery. I first complained to Samsung on 12-14-07 . They assured me a representative to repair the TV would come to my house to repair it. They finally arrived on 02-12-08 and took the TV due to it needed a front panel replacement. I spoke with the repair center on 02-25-08 and was told from them that Samsung says the part is not available at this time. I called Samsumg on 2-25-08 and was assured by Rich with the "Executive Customer Service Group" the part would be sent over night to the repair center , and I would have my TV this weekend . As of today 02-29-08, (17 days later the TV was taken away ) Taylor says "the part has not been shipped", and they will do nothing other than to they say, " the repair proceedure is in progress". Note to all, beware of any warrenty policey, you'll be the hostage !!!!! Sorry to say this past purchase will be the final dollar spent with Samsung !!! I plan to post this same email everywhere I can...$2200.00 for a TV that includes NO CUSTOMER SERVICE and no TV in my living room. Oh ya, the cable bill still getting paid, by me !

Now on 3rd problem in 8months,Luckily im into my FIRST
year of my extended warrenty from electronics express...Dont make me laugh....I dont know whats worse the fact that samsung are still producing these same old donkeys or the fact that the companies doing the work fo the extended warranty rogues wont do the work because they dont trust them to pay them.....................same old ...same old....Im on hold for A repair until the warranty companies get their fingers out of their *** and "merge"

i spent almost $2000 for my 42 inch samsung HD plasma tv, and i cant watch it, 4 months out of warranty and samsung saying they cant help and i should have bought an extended warranty...... %@#* you samsung... would never buy S^%@ from you

I work in the tv repair business. And I can tell you as a fact, Samsung does not have it's ducks in a row. Frequent backorders lasting weeks or more. Parts arrive which are defective. Poor service management at their end. And I could go on and on.

I agree with you. I'm going through the same process right now. Talk about a joke of a company. I'm replacing my Samsung with a new Panasonic Plasma set.

Same exact story as Jesse. A very long repair time. I'm going on 30 days now with the front panel still not in. I guess i'll be watching baseball on my 19" tv that still works.
Not happy with my $2000+ purchase right now.

samsung *** i bought a hps 4253 last year and i burns in bad. Also a pixel is going out and i did not get a warrenty though best buy. The moral of the story is plasma *** and so does samsung. but according to them this is neglect.
