Samsung Electronics in Duluth, Georgia - Avoid Samsung refrigerators.

Avoid Samsung refrigerators. We were initially drawn in by the sleek design, LED lighting, and nicer features of this fridge. Knowing it had some more modern electronics, we purchased the 5 year warranty. I'll affirm the complaints about the ice maker noise. WOW this thing is loud when it dumps ice. It will wake you up from the other side of the house. After about 6 months the water dispenser lever became difficult to operate. We learned to work around this by pressing hard on the upper portion. I had forgotten about the extended warranty and it wasn't a major problem. Not a big deal. After the 5 year warranty expired, it almost immediately began to fail in multiple ways. Perfect timing. We noticed that the light on the snack drawer often came on when it shouldn't. We thought it was due to a door open sensor. But this made no sense because the door open chime never activated. It was because the refrigerator side wasn't cooling properly. The panel indicated that the temperature was correct. Yet a thermometer in the fridge section was reading mid-50's. A quick search pointed to the fridge side evaporator fan. I confirmed that the fan was working, but replaced it anyway figuring it was worth a $23 investment to attempt a fix. No dice. The sensor or computer board is bad. So I ordered a new fridge evaporator coil with a plan of pulling the new sensors and installing them in the fridge. The day I was going to do that, the ice dispenser stopped activating and the ice was no longer hard frozen. At that point, I decided it was time to replace it because I didn't want to invest in a repair just to have something else fail soon. Our local reputable repair man concurred with my opinion. In his experience, once they start to go bad, they go hard. Other annoyances are they way the space is organized. It's difficult to make use of most of the space in the fridge side. The ice maker is in the way in a major way. The shelves aren't organized in a useful manner. Tall items are difficult to store. The freezer is a bottomless pit where items get buried and are difficult to dig out. On the upside, parts are cheap. Good luck if you have one. If you haven't bought one yet, best not. It's gone and I'm fairly annoyed that this fridge cost about $500 per year. Back to GE. Whirlpool is another good option. Samsung makes good tablets and phones. Appliances and home entertainment systems? Not so much.

Samsung Electronics - Samsung washer RUSTING
Avoid getting a Samsung washing machine. Like many others, the area around the bleach dispenser on our Samsung WA5451ANW washing machine began to show signs of rusting after just two years. We were told by a service man this was a design issue Samsung had addressed...

We have the same rust issue with our Samsung top load washer WA5451AN; rust spots showing up randomly on clothing and linens but of course not noticed until after they have been dried and the stains are set. Is there anything that can be done to fix the rust spots or do we have to buy a new washer?

Samsung Electronics in Salinas, California - Samsung Washer Rusts

Our Samsung washer model#WA5451ANW XAA 02 has been rusting since within 6 months of the brand new purchase. Unfortunately, as two busy/working parents, we have ignored the issue which is now a few years into owning the machine and it looks absolutely HORRIBLE. It's unfortunate that Samsung doesn't stand by the quality of their products or consume satisfaction since it appears that on all reviews I've read, they are not resolving any of the consumer's issue with this rusting. At this point, all I feel that I can do as a dissatisfied customer is ensure I spread the word to all consumers out there to not purchase Samsung.

The freezer started working again, I am not sure if something froze up or what happened.

I never heard one word from Samsung - for that reason alone, I doubt I would purchase another one of their products.

Replace food, offer more service people and local people. Offer emergency repairs - for a higher price if not under warranty. Options on what someone can do to minimize loss - ice isn't an option, no close store, don't own coolers and would need a bunch

Samsung Electronics in Utica, New York - Samsung Dishwashers are the Worst

1.0
Details
I have moved 32 times, so I have owned many dishwashers in my lifetime. Even though the kitchen appliances worked, this last move 13 months ago, prompted the usual appliance replacement. I went to Lowes online store and purchased a Samsung Dishwasher (DW). I listed my old DW on a local garage sale site and sold it for $50. The new one arrived in a few days, I paid someone $200 to install it and have been using it ever since. It is the worst DW I ever owned. Starting day one, it does not wash well or dry well. If lucky, 1/2 the dishes come out clean and dry. The service person basically said, "In order for this DW to work well, you have to wash the dishes before putting them in the DW". ***, why have a DW then? I have never had to do that before. I've always just scraped the food off the dishes and put them in the DW for the DW to wash them. I was sure to pick a DW with a food processor in it incase any small bits of food didn't get scraped off. I swear at this DW daily. It is a huge stainless steel piece of ***. DO NOT buy one. The $50 garage sale DW that came with the house did a better job! :(

Samsung Electronics Galaxy S 7 Edge Cell Phone Review from Indio, California

Samsung Electronics Galaxy S 7 Edge Cell Phone Review from Indio, California
Purchased a Galaxy S7 Edge on March 18th 2016 instead of my usual option due to a promotion in which you would receive a free Gear VR. My disabled son really wanted a Gear VR, so who am I to say no? I submitted the information needed for the promotion and then began the endless wait. Eventually I found out that there were a lot of people who weren't receiving their items, and shortly afterwards found that Samsung knew this was an issue because all of their previous promotions with Prizelogic ended up like this. People being hung up ob, not getting answers, blatantly lied to.. the list went on. A simple search on social media could show this was a running trend with Samsung promotions. I contacted Samsung to get the issue resolved, since Prizelogic would not for anyone. Samsung would not assist, pointed the blame on Prizelogic to distant themselves from yet another bait and switch promotion. Most people will still purchase Samsung phones, I will not. Nor network gear, nor memory, televisions, etc. For myself or my customers after this. So, when something happens with your Samaung product/offer expect to be without any assistance. You won't be alone though, there are plenty of us.

Samsung Electronics in Portland, Oregon - Samsung: disreputable business practice

Samsung offered me a $50 eCertification for canceling my order due to pricing error, in which they advertised the 40" KU7000 7-Series 4K UHD TV 2016 Model for $100. In my opinion, if they are legitimate and reputable, they should stand by what they advertised and make it a lesson learned for their personnel; however, from what I have read so far, this is not the only time they advertised the wrong price, this has happened before; therefore, I doubt that this is a true error, It is just a gimmick to attract customers with their measly $50 eCertificate. Being such a large and popular company as Samsung, this is such a cheap trick they used to manipulate the consumers. SO SAD.....

Don't be a cheap. Mistakes happen...

have you never made a mistake? Would you rather someone loose their job over a pricing error because you well know that the price you saw was unrealistic, but want to capitalize on a human error.

Get real, get a life, and get a job! Pay for what you consume and use!

Samsung Electronics Refrigerator Warranty Review from Mendham, New Jersey

2.1
Details
In February of 2016 my Samsung French door refrigerator stopped working. I knew mywarranty had expired(purchased unit in 2009 for 2400.00),but I wanted a certified technician to repair the unit. After using their advice a company by the name of Home Service Network came to my house on2/8/2016 and informed me that they do not work on SEALED UNITS. They told me to get a new one. I called Samsung to ask them why did you give me a repair service that I spent 96.30 for them to tell me that they could not repair the unit. Got a lot of words but no real response. They did tell me to get an extended warranty for 388.00 so they could send out another repairman. I did. The certified repairman did come out and the fridge worked for a month and stopped again. Another repairman came out and diagnosed the problem but now the company does not want to pay for the repair. We are using a dormitory sized fridge to help us. I just hope nobody ever buys a Samsung Fridge from anybody.
