Update by user Apr 11, 2014

Samsung is working with me and is correcting the problem. I am so pleased! They have issued us a work order number and the service company has schedule a date.

My faith is restored in Samsung.

My Samsung DLP TV began showing white dots on the left side of my TV...it began as couple of dots, however now has over 300 dots all over the TV...it sucks when you contact Samsung and they give you this lame reason to cover up what appears to be an ongoing issue with their product. Shame on them. AF in Florida.

Samsung Electronics in Riyadh, Ar Riyad - Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Sudden Death after 14 months

My Samsung Galaxy Note 2 suddenly went dead. it just shows a blank white screen with no response at all. I purchased this phone in Saudi Arabia at the end of 2012 for my son who is presently studying in Canada. It is incredible that an expensive phone like the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (I paid about $650 for it just over a year ago!) can just suddenly stop working while in absolutely normal use! Totally Unacceptable that Samsung cannot do anything to assist. Seems like I'm not the only one with this type of problem too. Shame on Samsung!!! Great potential but losing it fast with such shocking service!

Samsung Electronics in Leominster, Massachusetts - Got very poor and inadequate customer service

Bought 4 "Long Lasting" LED lightbulbs. All began flickering within a year. When I called to get them replaced, I was told I'd get a callback. No callback. Called again and spent over an hour on the phone talking to 4 different people, transferring back and forth. Nobody could/would help. In the end, they agreed to issue certificates for replacement bulbs. None ever arrived. Called again. Got passed back and forth again, despite my "transaction number", and had to repeat again all the serial numbers, etc. They couldn't even verify the model numbers of the bulbs, which seemed to not be on their system. Finally, they offered to replace them if I still had the original receipt. Otherwise, they could send a gift card for the equivalent price of one bulb. If I ever receive it, I'll update.

Samsung Electronics in Walnut Creek, California - 46" Samsung stopped working after 15 months of use due to bad capacitors

Case #:LTK1117901216455X when my tv stopped working I first contacted Samsung online and spoke with chat rep Simone S. he spent about 45 minutes taking me thru troubleshooting tips to ascertain what I already knew...that my tv was broken and needed service. I contacted Samsung about my tv 4 times and thus is the final word from them in their attempt to "reach out" Hello Benjamin, I'm sorry to see you're upset! We do stand behind our product in offering a 1 year warranty that is made to protect against any malfunction of the manufacturer. After 1 yr has passed it becomes an issue of wear and tear, and I apologize but we are unable to make any accommodations. Thank you, Bri Wear and tear is why my tv is broken after only 15 months? I don't think so. In fact I know exactly what the problem is. Samsung used substandard capacitors in this tv and they have failed. The symptoms are exactly the same as the ones exhibited in the class action lawsuit against Samsung and I told the first chat rep that. He said that my tv had no reports of bad caps and that my tv wasn't one of those listed. I know with 100% certainty that was my problem because I fixed the tv myself. Samsung should've fixed it regardless of warranty and they owe me for the bad caps they knowingly have been using.

You can replace the caps yourself and save some headache and fix your tv. Open it up and pull out the board, you should be able to tell which ones are bad.

get replacements from an electronics store and replace the bad ones. worked for us.

I hate it when a big corporation gives a customer the middle finger. happens too much these days.

Samsung Electronics in Melbourne, Victoria - Samsung Frige dont Work

I want to burn my Samsung fridge. Frustrated with the service. 15 degrees Celcus inside the fridge. The fridge broke down in 20 days after date of purchase. Techs reparied it but broke down again after 15 days. Techs have come out twice. No one should buy Samsung fridge especially SRF579 model. I have been informed that I have to be without the fridge for 10 days atleast because that is Samsung process.. Way to go Samsung...yeahhhhh!!! Plus I have to be at home for 4-5 hours atleas so that wait for the Prince Tech to come and assess the fridge. Lost my wages for two days already. Who Pays for that Samsung ???. We have to work too and pay the bills. Why would you care cause Its your process. For a 15 min job I have to loose my whole day salary. Frustrated Infuriated at such lame excuses and quality of products. All because it was my fault that I purchased a SAMSUNG fridge.

Samsung Electronics in Renton, Washington - White dot in center of tv/smart voice comes on by itself.

I recently bought f8000 60 inch tv. Within two weeks smart voice feature would activate on its own. Called samsung and a tech was sent out for repair. Replaced what he determined would correct the problem. That didn't solve the issue. They came out again to take back to shop. After a week and a half still couldn't determine what was the cause. I demand the return of my $2300.00 lemon, after tv was dropped off fired up and discovered they didn't even have the smart feature set to on. Dumb ***! Still not repaired, and now a small white dot in the center of the tv. Called samsung for repair request a different repair company. This bad experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I had high hopes for this led tv but now I'm having second thoughts about the purchase. Did all available research before buying this lemon and advice from cnet reviews boys was I misinformed. Never again!!!!

Samsung Electronics in Wood Dale, Illinois - Red Screen - Brand new Samsung 50" LED 3D TV

Brand new Samsung 50" LED 3D TV has a design flaw connecting to Comcast HD cable boxes using HDMI ports. Get picture with red cast and no sound when turn on. Disconnect HDMI cable and put back in the picture is fine. Have gone throught 4 cable boxes and 2 TVs of the same model and confirmed it is the model of TV. I have another older Samsung TV with same type box with no issues. There is obviously a software or firmware design problem. To make matters worse, Samsung Customer Service is worthless!!!! They created a ticket and promised to get back and did not. Had to call back and got no help. Comcast told me it is a known problem (Samsung denies it) and that I should return the TV and buy another brand. Samsung does not care that Concast is telling their customers to return Samsung TVs.

Samsung Electronics in Greensboro, North Carolina - New Samsung Plasma TV arrived broken with 2 weeks delay and they are repairing it X(

Samsung service is a nightmare. I ordered a 51" plasma TV directly from Samsung webpage to save $50 but I totally regret it, I should have gotten it from a store with expertise like Amazon or at least at a retail store. To begin, the TV said to be shipped within 1-3 business days when adding it to the cart but after I checked out the invoice said it was 5-7 days with a previous appointment, so I waited all those days and tried to ignore the misleading advertising but he TV didn't arrived, so I called Samsung service and they gave the wrong number to the delivery guys so they were supposed to change it and I should have gotten the TV within 1-2 business days (this is 9 business days after my "1-3 days" advertised shipping time), and again, they never called and the TV never arrived, so I complaint on Samsung website and all they did was sending an automatic response saying they are sorry but I have to call (again) for assistance, therefore I called again and they gave me the number of the carrier. Called the carrier and they have tried to contact me but the phone number was still wrong so Samsung did nothing to fix it. Scheduled an appointment directly with the carrier and they came the next day, and guess what???, the TV is broken!!!, I couldn't expect this karma to end so easy...now I called the Samsung service and they asked a couple of *** questions before entering a technical service visit, now I have to wait another 4 business day for them to try to repair my "brand new" TV because they don't want to give me a new tv. So there will be 20 days after my purchase to get a refurbished tv for the price of a new one. Definitely Samsung products are great, but their service just sucks from any point of View, Never ever buy directly from Samsung, never!!!
