I am pissed of Samsung India service

Hi, I am writing this in interest of other people who are looking to buy electronic products. I am so fed up of Samsung service now that I am force of write on this site first time. Because I cannot trust anybody else more than this site now. I have a SAMSUNG television which broke down this month (18th Aug 2008). I called Samsung service and I was assured service engineer visit same day. 3rd day engineer visited, repaired and went. In 2 days, same fault appeared. Again called Samsung service, engineer came and corrected and left. Then I went outstation. When I came back after a week, TV was again not working. Problem was same. I had to call customer service again and as usual they promised engineer same day. That “same day” came again 3rd day. Engineer checked and walked away telling me that he needs to bring some spares. Somebody will call and confirm you when this would be repaired. When nobody called, we had to call up customer service 2 times to get the status. They promised a senior engineer visit to see what can be done as THE COMPANY DOES NOT HAS SPARES. That visit is still awaited and I am calling SAMSUNG CUSTOMER SERVICE ALMOST EVERYDAY. Problem is that this SAMSUNG CUSTOMER SERVICE is a just a call center. They have just a messaging system. No real link to service department. I asked for customer manager's telephone number for customer's grievance. They have same answer every time that they do not have it. Every time they have a similar answer that they would pass on the message. I am PISSED OFF now and advice all the customer's not to buy any Samsung product ever at least in India. I would be happy SAMSUNG company to know what a common customer thing about them.

I too bought a SAMSUNG refrigerator & after a month it did not work ...............so i called the customer service center but no one has come till now ,so i am now planning to file a consumer case against them as my refrigerator is 2 month old & has not been working for 1 month.

I too have a similar experience with samsung. In my case the service center had replaced the PBA and my handset IMEI no. was changed but the service center refused to give any document mentioning that PBA was changed at the service center. These service centers are using repaired PBA received from other complaints for replacement.

In absence of any document why should anyone accept handset with differnt IMEI. Who knows that the different IMEI was used by which person. This is a very dangerous situation keeping in view of series of terror attacks in the country.

I request the ministry to ban this brand from doing business in India if they continue to fool their customers and put them in risk like this.

I HAVE HAD A PATHETIC EXPERIENCE WITH MY 1.5 TON AC. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM SAMSUNG.BP NUMBER 840801****

Samsung DO NOT BUY- Horrible service:

This should say it all-Sir/Ma’am, I am writing out of pure frustration. I apologize if any of this comes across as rude- but I am just at my wits end and feel like I’m really being messed with here. I have a 56 Inch Samsung LED DLP TV. I have never purchased Samsung before, but have heard it is a good brand. I guess I am one of those people who received a lemon. Within the first 6 months my television began working improperly. Half the screen would disappear. You could turn it off and back on and it would be whole again. At first we thought it was our cable box. However, than we noticed it did it while watching DVDs. I was in the middle of moving but called Samsung as soon as I was settled into the new place. They sent a repair service out…no problems at all. The repair man came out but then said he would be back when a part came in. Weeks later the part came in and he returned for the second time. However, within a day or two it began to do it again. The repair man came out a third time and replaced something else…within an hour the TV lost sound…I called the repairman. A few minutes later the picture went out completely. The TV began making clicking noices- that’s all it would do. It became an 1800 dollar paperweight. I called the repairman- he said he sent an email to the company telling them he didn’t think my television was fixable…I waited for days and didn’t hear anything from the company. I called Samsung and they said they had a note from the repairman stating that he didn’t believe my TV could be fixed but that because he didn’t send the proper paperwork they closed out the work order. Why would they just close it out knowing my Samsung television was still not working? I was not taken into consideration at all… So, meanwhile, I’m paying a cable bill for an $1800 TV that does nothing but sit there taking up space. I feel like I have no place to turn- I just have to sit here and accept the fact that I paid this much money for something that doesn’t work and no one at Samsung cares. I all ready purchased the product- they all ready have my money. So, I’m supposed to sit back and do nothing- My TV has not worked at all for a month now. I just really believe that is above and beyond wrong. I feel I should be give a new TV and have money reimbursed for the cable that I have not been able to use- but if I turn off- I have to pay a reconnect fee later. I do not think anyone reading this email would be okay with spending hard earned money on a product that doesn’t work and than waiting for over a month for anyone to do anything about it.( and the 3rd time!) And now I’m wondering how much longer it will be – will that month turn into two, three…? I will never buy Samsung again- but I do feel that I deserve to have what I have all ready purchased replaced or my money reimbursed in a more timely manner than this. Thank you so much for your ear.

Do Not Buy Samsung

My new fridge broke and was forced to use Samsung Customer Service Department for guidance. They are useless. They give false hope, never call you back, their managers do not call you back - you are on your own. It's been 3 months since I filed to receive a reimbursement and still no check. They pray that you just give up and stop calling them. I kept pressing the issue and they assigned me to their executive customer service team. They are worse than the original team! For your own safety - Do Not Buy Samsung Products. A cooler with ice is a better solution.

$2,000 Samsung Plasma TV Croaks in 6 Months

I purchased a Samsung 50" Plasma TV on 3/2/08. On 8/3/08, it stopped working. No picture, no sound. I did the usual, checked the cable box, checked the connections, checked the surge protector, unplugged and replugged the unit. Nothing. I called Samsung customer service 8/3/08 at 10:53 PM, spoke to Peter. He suggested unplugging it and replugging the unit. Then suggested plugging directly into the wall by passing the surge protector. Nothing. He then gave the name of a service provider. Told me to call the service provider and they would come to my home within two days. 8/4/08 - called the service provider. He said he would not come to my area, too far away. Said he had told Samsung this on a number of occasions. 8/4/08, 10:41, called Samsung service and spoke to Anthony. He said he would find another service provider. He called two companies; neither would come to my area. Anthony told me I was in a "no service" area and would refer my call to the Executive Customer Relations group. Anthony told me someone from ECR would call me before noon of the same day. 8/4/08, 7:55 PM, called Samsung, spoke to Josh. He told me there was nothing in my records about "no service" area or ECR. He suggested I call ECR the next day as ECR closes at 5PM. 8/5/08, 11:33 AM, called Samsung, spoke to Kim in ECR. She said nothing to report, suggested I call the next day. 8/5/08, 11:32 AM, called Samsung, spoke to Cathy in ECR. She explained that Samsung would have to exhaust all efforts to find a service provider. I asked how long that would take. Cathy said she didn't know. I asked how they would find a provider, since the closest providers to my area would not come to my house. Cathy said she didn't know that they do something with the computer to find a service provider. I asked if she could give me a ballpark range of how long it would take. I asked if I could speak to someone who could shed some light on the process. Cathy said there was no one else to speak to since I was dealing with the ECR which was as high as you could go. She again said she didn't know but told me I had only been waiting for three days, which isn't a long time. She suggested I call back on Friday, 8/7/08. 8/7/08, called Samsung, spoke to Debbie. Debbie said they had found a provider and placed me on hold to call and set appointment. When she came back on line, she told me that provider does not service my area. I asked how they were going to find a provider, since no one covers my area. She said they would have to work on it for 21 business days before they would consider any other options. I asked when the 21 days started, on my initial call, or when they found a service tech. She wasn't sure but assumed it would be from my initial call. She suggested I call back in a couple of days. Here's my beef: 1. $2,500, brand new Samsung 50" Plasma stops working 6 months after purchase. 2. Samsung can't find a repair technician in my area, but tells me to hang on for 21 business days while they try to round someone up. 3. I have to continually call them, instead of Samsung updating me on their progress. I will never purchase another Samsung product.

Samsung customer service complaint.

My new L100 camera arrived without an owners manual. After speaking with 4 different individuals and spending 20 minutes on the phone, Samsung would not mail me one free of charge. They told me to download one or purchase one online at my expense. I'm taking this camera back tomorrow and will purchase a Nikon or Canon instead. Samsung customer service will not answer E-mails.

I have an Samsung A7 digital camera. It takes beautiful pictures, but only one or two per set of batteries. I don't know if the problem is with the camera or the charger. New rechargeable batteries and dry cells don't make any difference. I have been sending E-mails to Customer Service on the Samsung website for over a year. They will not even acknowledge the E-mails, much less address my problem. I have told them I am in the market for a new refrigerator and a flat panel TV and unless I hear from them, I will not consider anyother Samsung products.

i m pankaj gupta . and i mam living in new delhi pahar ganj. i purchased a computer three years ago and the hard disk of my computer is of samsung company that is not working now ..The problem with my hard disk is that when i open the computer a message come to the screen is " read disk error" ..please tell me waht should i do now ..and please give me ur address to which i send my hard disk to ur company and tell is this problem is having solution or not if there is any solution then please repair my hard disk

Two months old Samsung TV went blank!

On April 19th 2008, I bought a Samsung 27'' Slimfit TV from best buy, Chicago, (purchase serial number : 075859**** / reference number : 0313********). It worked smoothly till July 9th, that means within two months it went blank, no power, no signal nothing...!! I felt like Im the unluckiest one in the world..coz TVs are believed to run for years without any problem.. i called the Samsung call center, for a service, they did say that they are going to repair it for free... but with a ray of hope I asked them if they can replace the TV, the customer agent answered me with a parrable.. that she bought a new jeans last week, but the button fell off... her heart broke, she explained me that all this happens in this consumer world. ha...!! well answered babe..!! you might become the employee of the month for the best call of the month... anyway... my TV is not yet repaired by them, its 24th of july today.. they keeps on rescheduling my home service. God knows when they are going to appear! But anyhow, I will never go for Samsung appliances, they may be good, but for a prompt service after the purchase, they are not good...you might regret for the level of quality of their customer service. Let me confirm for everyone,Samsung have not improved in the slightest,I purchased my samsung model-HLS4676SX/XAA 18 months ago and its awaiting its third repair in the last 8 months. :(

After researching all possible resources Online reviews/friends whom have purchased and all other resources simply dont have any slighty positive feedback at all about them and this is spread throughout all products not just t.v,s.

So dont be sucked in by their stylish apperance along with rave reviews from the companies trying to sell their goods(or bads as I now call it)

Little to say "you wont find any of samsungs products in any of the folks homes that I know"

Tv doesn't work no service for over 6 weeks

In mid April I bought a Samsung Tv at the Brick and I set it up in the beginning of May. I watched 2 Hockey games and about 3 1 hr movies and it failed (no Picture). When reported they sent a repairman out and he told me it was the lcd screen, that was the beginning of June. I contacted them a number of times to no avail and then today I was told (6 weeks later) that they only service the sets and I would just have to wait until the part came in. I think everyone should no of this policy.

Samsung - CHAMP SCH-S269:Mobile & after sales service both are ***.

Hi, As far as Samsung mobiles are concerned, I have pathetic experience with them. I am very much dissatisfied w.r.t (1) quality & (2) after sales services. I have bought two Samsung CHAMP SCH-S269 in Rs 3500.00. I have bought these mobile from Amiz Communications, Near Shaniwar wada, Pune. This shopkeeper had taken his feet back after selling mobile to me and forwarded me to Samsung service station. For quality, I have mark lots of bugs in the software which was installed in the mobile. Few of them are. 1) You can't be able to search number in directory if your language is 'Hindi' 2) So many times I am getting wrong name displayed for incoming calls. 3) It used to hang so many times. Above issues are not enough. Within two months both the mobile has started giving problem with display. And now for both the mobile display is gone to null. now the mobile are only like olderdays telephone neither you can see anything more you can type anything. Now i want to discuss the second phase problem i.e. after sales service. For resolving above issues I approached to Samsung service station. I have approached "Sharp Communication, Office No.13, 14 & 15, 1St Floor, Shanti Complex, Narpatgiri Chowk, Mangalwarpeth" . I met there Mr. Kalil, He had asked three(3) days for repairing the mobile set which is pathetic as how would I maintain three days without mobile as I can't remain untouched with my clients. The behavior of Mr. Kalil was just ***, he had notion that “most foolish community existing on earth is 'Customer' “. This person had asked me photocopies of Bill, warranty card etc for full filling their process. My question is why I should provide such thing for full filling Samsung's need? If they need photocopy of my bill then they need to take photocopy by themselves. I am not at all servant of Samsung or there service station staff. So, Samsung had failed enough to provide after sales service also. I don’t know how ethical business Samsung is doing? I think this is not a business but a sophisticated business of "CHEATING". I am very much planned to get fulfillment from Samsung for my pain and suffering. Thanks,

Samsung phone SGH-G800

I Bought a Samsung mobile phone model SGH-G800 about 6 month ago for £220.00, I had the phone 3 months and the bulb for the flash went. So I phoned Samsung as it is a manufacturer fault on 0870 726 **** then option 1. My Samsung customer number is 210248****. They said as the phone has a 24 month warranty it will have to go away for repair. So sent the phone away to the repair centre Ref: 170**** -no.0129566**** Phone came back 2 weeks later saying fully repaired & tested (have all the letters as proof) turned it on nothing had been done apart from setting the phone back to default. All they have to do is change the bulb for the flash and press the button and see if it flashes. So I phoned Samsung again they said nothing they can do and I would have to send it off again labelled the fault on the camera for the engineer. Sent it again repair centre Ref: 175**** no.0129566**** Came back 2 weeks later, saying fully repaired & tested, this time they haven't done any thing my personnel wallpaper is still on it, and more faults have arose including the original!! Phoned Samsung said nothing they can do it will have to send it off again! the guy on the phone said that it has to be sent off 3 times before they will consider a replacement/investigating, as it states in Samsung warranty (I've looked through the warranty says no such thing). I asked for the reports of what the engineer did and they wouldn't tell me or send it to me (as they have done nothing) I've had to buy another phone because I've been so long with out a phone. As it is under warranty and Samsung cant repair am I not entitled to a replacement? i am currently awaiting to send my phone off for the 3rd time, and I could bet money that when it comes back in two weeks time it will still be broke. Samsung mobile

i like the samsung cellphone because it has lots of security in messages,pics,media, etc..but the only thing i dont like in samsung are...i can't put games to download, i can't put themes that i can decorate in my cellphone, not like in nokia cellphones i can put lots of graphics and design, i can change the color and font size while i text..i hope the company will put a website that i can download themes (handset themes in my cellphone..SGH-G800). I like small font while i make txt messages and change the background. I hope the company will make the customer happy.

Very poor products of samsung (air conditioner)

My name is Mr Puri i purchased an AC from samsung (chandigarh)around 2 yrs back. Since that time it is giving very much problem. Last year the compressor of our AC got burnt and it stopped working it is just been appox. 6 months and the same problem has occured again i am sick and tired of samsung products earlier i had spend around 2500 Rs on it. Lie after Lie after lie

I had a Samsung 22 inch monitor go bad, I took it to Fry's the Las Vegas Store. For repairs, This was in Nov,2007 The store mgnt!! (Blessila Halili) Now this has been going on 7 months, She says A replacement monitor OKed by Samsung America. Customer care! Customer support, Now it's just a matter of time! She said! (WHAT!!) So I called Samsung America, Customer care,, And Customer Support And There Reply Was QUOTE"(Blessila Halili) WHO! UNQUOTE" I've been (BS)ed For 7 months( HELP!) Don't buy Samsung!

13 months ago I purchased a, what I thought, top of the line Samsung washer and dryer. $2K. Sunday it broke (the belt came off) and I called samsung support. They said to call an affiliated repair shop. The guy came out, fixed it, and charged me $140. It was one month out of warranty I called them again. The service rep said "you are out of warranty" and then dead silence. I said "I expected that a high end washer/dryer would last longer, not less than the cheap ones I have always used." Again, silence. DON'T BUY SAMSUNG!!! My rental property has a cheap washer and dryer, still running great after 4 years. And I was just about to buy a Samsung TV...I think not.
