The automatic drying cycle is very poor quality and does not correctly detect when clothes are dry. Dryer frequently stops after running only a few minutes.

It is basically useless. Have to use timed drying to get clothes completely dried. As always, Samsung's customer service is no help and will not provide service under warranty. We have purchased a houseful of Samsung products and are completely dissatisfied with the dryer, the dishwasher and the Icemaker.

UPDATE: Our Samsung washer was recalled due to an exploding hazard. Apparently, they fly apart with enough force to penetrate walls, skulls, etc. Keep in mind this is the same company that gave us the exploding cell phone! Samsung still refuses to acknowledge the poor quality of the drying sensor on the automatic cycle.

The Dryer is now totally useless on the auto-dry setting. WE WILL NEVER AGAIN PURCHASE NOR RECOMMEND SAMSUNG PRODUCTS.

I also have issues with my washer and dryer and didn’t even mention the need to dry everything on Timed Dry. Ridiculous.


Attempted to contact Samsung hot line to the President. Big surprise - No reply! What a joke their Customer Service is.


Keep in mind Samsung is the same company that gave us the exploding cell phone! And the exploding washer!
