Be aware that if you purchase a Tracfone that you will be locked in to one provider. They don't say so on their website to make sure you ask . . . in my case Verizon doesn't provide...

Intimately I pay for insurance monthly and I need to have my phone replaced because it's broken and there is no way to get ahold of anybody for customer service to replace my phone

I bought a Samsung j3 from metro pcs three days ago. New phone, new service, new number. Works great. Except for voicemail. I have no voicemail mail. The retailer tried to fix it, but couldn't. I spent hours with customer service, but they couldn't fix it. The retailer said, "Give it couple of days and maybe it'll provision itself." Translation, "I know you have a problem but I really wish you'd leave me out of it." I tried setting up an account online with metro pcs. That was fun. The site kept saying they were having technical difficulties. Ha! That is an understatement. Finally it looked like the site worked, but no joy. It keeps saying my password is incorrect. Even my secret question isn't right. The website it completely worthless. Tried customer service again. They said they were having technical difficulties and to call back in two hours. I realize I don't have a snowballs chance in *** of getting a refund for this phone and service. Lesson learned. But I was finally able to get a working phone, and voicemail! Yeah! I simply went and got a phone from a different company, problem solved. Personally, I'd rather be doused in gasoline - lit on fire - then have the flames put out with sledgehammer then do business with these clowns ever again.

i was overcharged on my credit card. They admited to the overcharge when I called. They would only give me store product credit which I wanted had already bought a case and tempered glass protection and wanted no more products i.e., bluetooth, speakers, etc. I escalated to the Manager and then District Manager. I returned the phone and was refunded IN CASH. I had to keep the case and tempered glass ( which is useless unless I buy another exact phone ) and they would not refund the activation fee. I used zero minutes and texted (3). They told me I should have complained right away. I am old and that doesnt excuse my neglience in looking reviewing the charges right in the store. This was going to be my very first phone on my own. $138 dollar lesson

Change their policy on correcting overcharges regardless of promotion no longer valid. At the time of purchase, their mistake. 5 days later catching their mistake shud be rectified.

Sprint in Keansburg, New Jersey - Poor service and no backup to take care of phones

Bought a phone was not offered a service plan. After 40 days phone doesn't work went to 3 sprint stores they want to charge me 70.00 to fix it. I went back to the original store I bought it at, the person at the store was very disrespectful told me he would show me how it works but stated I probably wouldn't understand told me to go to sprint store that does repairs. But in the meantime , the petson at the original store took my simm card and even if I could afford to get the phone fixed, the phone is useless without it. Called customer service and after 10 days of traveling back and forth offered to reimburse me on my bill. But again without a simm card the phone is still no good. Sprint expects their payment for it though. I would never buy a phone from them again or buy a samsung phone cause it has a year service guarantee they dont cover that part.
