we purchased a samsung refrigerator and have had problems with the ice maker for over a year now !Four repairs later still a problem the last technician named Steve told us that it was our RO system not enough pressure to make ice .So we called our plumber out who gaged our pressure from the RO system and it was perfect so now I am out $71.00 because of someone who did not know what they were talking about.

If there is a class action suit against Samsung concerning the ice maker it just makes the point that your complaint should be with Samsung. When you purchase a product at at store, they are just the middleman between you and the manufacturer or service provider.

Yes you may have given Home Depot the money for your service contract but if you read the contract you will find the name of the provider of that contact. If you have a complaint about the sr=ervice contract it is with the provider of the contract.

HD is not responsible for the repair/service of ANYTHING you buy from them. they are just a reseller.

Samsung was sending a tech out.

yeah it sucks it would be that long but that is what it is. you can't hold HD responsible for this as it's Samsung's product NOT theirs.

Wander on over to Lowe's and buy a new fridge and have them take the Samsung dud away. There are better brands out there. Do some research before you buy.
